My classes move slowly, allowing you to feel each pose in your body and make any adjustments for it to feel best for you each time you come to your mat. I offer options to accommodate all abilities, and encourage the use of props (including yoga blocks or books, chair or other furniture, walls, and pillows/blankets).
Gentle Yoga
Class is taught one pose at a time, with time between poses to safely transition between them. While class will start and end on the floor (option to sit on chair), we do not go up and down between floor and standing poses. This is a perfect class for beginners.
Weekend Wake-up Yoga
Definitely more challenging than Gentle Yoga, but accessible to all levels as I encourage you to move slowly and carefully. We will hold each pose for several breaths, allowing you to feel it in your body and release the kinks and tightness that build up from our daily lives. This class will have transitions from floor to standing (and vice versa), with options to accommodate all abilities.
